I usually make my own toothpaste. It's a simple recipe but recently I wanted to try something different. As for my toothbrush, well, I was given a Mouth Watchers toothbrush and was dying to try it. Does the Tom's of Maine toothpaste make my teeth just a clean as my homemade stuff? Is this toothbrush worth it? Read my review below!

I'm not going to lie, I've had this Tom's of Maine toothpaste sitting in my bathroom cabinet for a while now. I haven't been in a rush to try it because I loved my homemade toothpaste. But when I ran out and forgot to make more I decided now was the time.

I love the way this toothpaste makes my mouth feel. It really does give you that "just brushed" feeling and my teeth always look white and shiny. Plus the effects last all day!

The flavor of the peppermint is a little more intense than I would prefer. It is almost like a peppermint bomb exploded in your mouth. I never worry if my breath smells because I would be shocked if it does.

Overall, I really like this toothpaste. Will I go back to my homemade stuff, probably, but this is great to have on hand if I am too lazy to make more or if I just need to make sure my teeth are getting clean. It is a little costly considering what I usually use is made for pennies but I do like it. You can get some for yourself here.

Normally I use a bamboo toothbrush because it is zero waste but when I got this Mouth Watchers toothbrush in a package from Frontier Co-op I have to admit I was intrigued.  This toothbrush claims to have an antimicrobial technology and special flossing bristles that help get your teeth cleaner. I have to try it.

First of all, I am a little sad this is made from plastic. I love my bamboo toothbrush because it is a great zero waste option and I was hesitant to go back to plastic. The toothbrush itself is nice and feels like a traditional toothbrush with some differences.

I can not attest to the antimicrobial claims of this toothbrush since I don't have a science lab in my home. The website says the bristles prevent 99.99% of bacteria growth that happens when you leave your toothbrush out. This was pretty awesome to me because I always worry about that. If it is true then I am pretty impressed.

The bristles look different than other toothbrushes as well. They have some that are longer than others and this helps to "floss" and get into the hard to reach areas. It helps your mouth get cleaner. I don't really notice if it does that but I can say I really like this toothbrush. I do think it helps my mouth feel cleaner.

I do like this brush and I will continue to use it until I need a new one. I wish they had a nonplastic version but I would use this toothbrush again. You can purchase one here! Note: This post contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own.
